O83 – Complete flat refurbishment in Torrevieja

This is a “Turnkey” project + Management and processing of permits + Construction Management of a 65 m² flat. At Arcostec Group we offer the services of a multi-purpose team made up of architects, engineers, designers, officers, plumbers, electricians, etc. capable of carrying out both a large-scale new construction project and a small design refurbishment.

For this renovation we were asked by a lovely American couple to help them realise their dream of owning a property in sunny Spain. The challenge was to carry out the whole communication process completely remotely through video-calls and emails in English.  In this case, to avoid any doubts or misunderstandings, we provided our client with the 3D visualisations together with a quality memory.

The quotation we provide for most projects is described down to the last detail. We usually indicate the brand and model of the elements we offer together with a graphic description. There are many details that cannot be overlooked thanks to our system of work. Everything is completely clear and defined: floor-standing or wall-mounted toilet, countertop or wall-mounted faucet, masonry shower trays or prefabricated resin shower trays. For us, trust and transparency are essential in our dealings with all our customers.

The contracted works consisted of redistributing the property, re-forming the balcony that existed in the original layout and carrying out a complete renovation of all the interior elements. It was decided to eliminate the third no-window room and create an open-plan kitchen-living-dining room space. We smoothed the walls, installed floating wooden flooring and stretch ceilings as a solution to the totally uneven ceilings. We changed all the windows for more energy efficient PVC ones. We installed ducted air conditioning with centralised machine and AirZone system.  We created a kind of entrance hall, combining it with the kitchen island, hiding the existing pillar, integrating a mirror and even a wine cabinet. We restored the wooden entrance door, respecting the exterior aesthetics and making it more secure.

In case of remote projects like this one, we like to keep our clients especially well informed. Every week we provide them with video reports and photos of each stage of the work. At the end of the work we also make all the necessary video-calls so that our clients can see the results, can evaluate it properly and make any appropriate requests.

Finally, and as a result of the effort and dedication, we completed the works on time and with the qualities offered. Both technicians and subcontractors have lived up to the demands of a very demanding client. Several budget extensions and improvements were made without affecting delivery times or budgets in an exorbitant way. All of this, always with a prior assessment and notification to the client.
