O83 – Reforma integral de apartamento en Calle Valencia, Torrevieja

The client contacted Arcostec Group for us to take charge of a integral renovation in a single flat in a building located a few meters from the beach in Torrevieja (Alicante). The aim of this renovation was to redistribute the existing space and give the house a more modern design, and to achieve this we have smoothed the walls, replaced the floor with laminate flooring and replace appliances and facilities, among other things. All this is quite an extensive task that requires the collaboration of many different professions, but Arcostec’s multidisciplinary team of professionals did not back down and got down to work, starting with the application for the various permits and licenses.

The photographs shown correspond to the previous phase before starting the renovation. Here we can see the general state of the house. Considering that the house is more than 30 years old, it is in a decent condition. However, both the materials and the installations have become obsolete over time.

In these photographs you can see the work in progress. You can see the changes that are being made, such as the replacement of the interior and exterior carpentry, the tiling of the bathroom and kitchen, the installation of floating floorboards and false ceilings, the smoothing of the walls and the updating of the interior installations. As for the redistribution of the space, the kitchen and living room were joined by demolishing the existing partition walls (they were not load-bearing walls). In addition, an awning was installed on the balcony.

Compared to the photographs of its previous state, the property has taken on a more contemporary style, and consequently the space has become lighter and more spacious. The kitchen, which is now connected to the living room, has been completely renovated with new carpentry and appliances. The light fittings have been replaced with more energy efficient ones.
