The client in question had already made an integral reform with Arcostec, and as he was satisfied with the services provided he decided to contact us again to make another integral reform in a flat in Torrevieja a few meters from the beach, overlooking the harbour. This time it is an individual flat in a building more than 35 years old. The aim of this reform will be the redistribution of the house to make it more spacious, and also the replacement of finishings and equipment to give the house a more modern look.
As can be seen in the photographs, the flat has never been renovated, so it still has the predominant style of the time of its construction (walls with gotelé, mosaics in bathrooms and kitchens, etc…). Furthermore, it is segmented into rooms connected by a central corridor, which reduces the perception of space in the flat. The electrical appliances and mechanisms, although they worked, were also outdated, and most probably no longer adapted to the current regulations.
These photographs show the work carried out during the construction. Numerous changes can be seen with respect to the initial state of the house, such as the following:
- Change of the exterior carpentry for PVC windows, without modifying the dimensions of the openings.
- Change of interior carpentry.
- Bathroom and kitchen tiling.
- Laying of new laminate flooring.
- False ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom area.
- Applying plastic paint as a finish.
- Updating of interior installations (plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, etc.), in accordance with current regulations.

The kitchen, which now has new appliances and more storage space, has now been joined to the living room, which in turn has increased the living area, making the flat appear larger than it was. The bathroom has been given a more contemporary feel thanks to the finishes, both on the floors and walls. In addition, the washing machine and dryer now have their own space which is less intrusive, thus increasing the usable space in the flat.
