Electrical Installation Bulletin - This is an official document issued by an authorized electrician that certifies that the electrical wiring of your home or non-residential premises meets all the necessary requirements. This certificate reflects all the main characteristics of the electrical network, including the existing and maximum permitted power, electrical diagram, as well as a quality guarantee certified by an authorized technician or company. Each Autonomous Community has its own forms both for the certificate itself and for the payment of the corresponding fees.

WHEN DO I NEED THIS?
There are many situations in which you will be required to provide this certificate. The most common of them:
- you have a new building (whether an apartment or an entire building), or your electrical network is more than 20 years old;
- you contact the energy company to change ownership;
- you do not have enough existing capacity specified in the contract and want to increase it;
- Your electricity has been cut off due to non-payment.
WHAT IS THE EXPIRATION DATE OF THE ELECTRIC BULLETIN?
The electrical wiring certificate has a maximum useful life of 10 years. The owner of the property must renew the certificate if the electrical wiring of the premises is subject to change, if there is a change in the power specified in the contract, or if there is a change in the ownership of the property.
