Description Modern villa "Horizonte II" in the suburbs of Murcia
This single-family home is located in one of the best urbanizations in Murcia, just 20 minutes from the city center. It is designed in a classic style on a 500 m² plot.
The villa project was developed by ARCOSTEC specialists together with the architect D. Javier Mora. We designed this house taking into account the latest trends, so that each room feels comfortable and welcoming.
The house has two floors and is topped by a traditional gable roof. The second floor offers panoramic views of the urbanization, parks and nearby green areas. In addition, the house has a semi-basement where there is a garage and storage rooms. The total area of the building is 250 m².
The house facilities are located as follows:
- Semi-basement floor: garage, storage rooms and access staircase to the first floor.
- First floor: hall, bathroom, toilet, living room, kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, corner terrace and staircase to the second floor.
- Second floor: hallway, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large terraces.
Columnar foundation with supports of equal thickness in combination with a reinforced concrete slab. The load-bearing walls are made of 25 cm thick reinforced concrete and are designed taking into account longitudinal-transverse bending. The vertical load-bearing structures are formed by reinforced concrete columns of rectangular section. The horizontal elements consist of a corrugated roof with a gas block. Unidirectional slabs formed by prefabricated beams and lightweight vaults made of pressed concrete block and concrete poured in situ. The interior space is divided by brick masonry of different thickness depending on the room, as well as plasterboard with thermal and acoustic insulation.
The façade is covered in stone. Floor coverings are made of marble and ceramic tiles with high performance characteristics. A smooth plaster screed covered with plastic paint in neutral tones was used to cover the walls. False plasterboard ceilings.
