Description Modern datached luxury house "Topacio" in Gavá
This project was a finalist in the competition for the construction of a single-family home, a premium luxury villa, with an individual pool and guest house, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. At the request of the company ARCOSTEC, a professional team of architects from “TopHouseRealty” prepared a project proposal with the requirements and trends described below:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
On an urban scale, the idea of the project is to fragment the block into horizontal segments, giving structure to the site. This operation makes it possible to formally unite all the buildings, create outdoor spaces with different atmospheres and integrate the project into the urban complex of the area.
In formal terms, the transverse segments of the main structure are united by a simple vestibule that separates the natural garden located at the entrance of the house from the more secluded garden of the library. The landscaping of the internal garden extends through the hall and becomes part of the main façade. The second floor bedroom blocks stand out from the main building, enlivening the project and adding versatility to the structure.
The layout of the house was designed with the aim of creating its own outdoor space for each room with furniture appropriate to its purpose.
CONSTRUCTION
This project, although it did not receive a subsidy for its construction, served as the basis for the development of new construction projects for new orders on the Costa Brava and Costa Dorada. Currently, our partners are developing successful activities in Barcelona and nearby cities.
